GTA 5 is a widely popular open-world game, but many players may encounter constant crashes when running it on their PC. This article provides effective methods to help you fix this issue and restore a smooth gaming experience.

1. Update Graphics Card Drivers

Outdated or incompatible graphics card drivers can cause GTA 5 to crash. It's recommended to use Driver Sentry to automatically detect and update drivers, saving time and avoiding the risk of downloading or installing incorrect drivers.

Download

Step 1: Click the download button to get the latest version of Driver Sentry, install the software, and open it.

Step 2: Click "Scan" to identify drivers that are missing or need updating, find the graphics card driver in the results list, and click the "Update" button.

Step 3: After updating, restart your computer to ensure the new drivers are properly applied.

2. Change Graphics Settings to Normal

Start GTA 5 and enter the main menu.

In the main menu, click "Settings" and select "Graphics".

In the graphics settings, find the "Graphics Quality" or similar option.
