Logitech keyboards are known for their quality and design, but they can sometimes have latency issues that affect work and gaming. This article provides quick and effective solutions to fix these issues for smoother use.

Fix 1: Check Battery or Connection Status

For wireless keyboards: Ensure the battery is charged, installed correctly, and that rechargeable batteries are fully charged. Make sure the wireless receiver is properly plugged into a USB port and try re-pairing the keyboard.

For wired keyboards: Ensure the keyboard plug is firmly connected and check the cable for damage. Try different ports to identify the issue, and check the keyboard status in Device Manager, updating or reinstalling drivers if necessary.

Fix 2: Update Drivers

Outdated drivers may cause keyboard lag. It is recommended to use Driver Sentry to automatically detect and update drivers, saving time and reducing the risk of downloading incorrect drivers.

Download

Click the download button to get the latest version of Driver Sentry. After installation, open the software and click "Scan".

After scanning, the software will show which drivers are missing or need updating. Find the keyboard driver in the results list and click "Update".

Once the update is complete, restart your computer to ensure the new drivers work properly.

Fix 3: Disable Filter Keys

Type "Control Panel" in the search box and search.

Change the "View by" setting to "Small icons" and click "Ease of Access Center".
