Fix Discord Keeps Crashing
Some users experience crashes on Discord, affecting voice chats, server loading, or chat windows. This guide offers methods to fix these issues for a smoother experience.
1. Update Device Drivers
Outdated or corrupted drivers may interfere with Discord's hardware acceleration feature, leading to crashes. Using a tool like Driver Sentry can automate driver updates, saving time and reducing errors.
Download and install the latest version of Driver Sentry. Open the app and click "Scan".
Review the list of outdated drivers, locate the necessary ones, and click "Upgrade".
After updating, restart your computer to apply the changes.
2. End Discord Processes via Task Manager
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc or right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.
In the Processes tab, locate all processes named Discord.
Right-click each process and select "End Task".

Delete the folders named Cache, Code Cache, and GPUCache.

Click the gear icon in the bottom-left corner to open User Settings.
Locate all features labeled as "BETA".
Turn off the toggle switches for all such features.
Save the changes and restart the app.
7. Check Network Connection

If the network signal is weak, try switching to a wired connection or another wireless network.
Open Command Prompt as an administrator and execute the following commands one by one:

8. Reinstall Discord
Press Win + S and search for "Add or Remove Programs".
Locate Discord in the list, select it, and click "Uninstall".
Press Win + R, type the following paths, and delete the associated folders:

Visit the official Discord download page and download the latest installer.
Run the installer, follow the prompts, and log in to your account.
Check if the crashing issue is resolved.
