Some Windows users may encounter the issue of no sound from the Realtek digital output, affecting normal audio output. This article provides effective solutions to help you quickly fix the issue and restore normal audio output experience.

1. Check Hardware Connections

  • Ensure that your audio output device is correctly connected to your computer. For HDMI or optical output, check that the connections are secure and all cables are properly inserted.

  • If you're using HDMI or optical cables to connect your sound system, try replacing the cables or changing the port. Damaged cables or loose connections may prevent proper audio signal transmission.

2. Update Device Drivers

Outdated or corrupted drivers are one of the common causes of audio output problems. By checking for updates to your Realtek drivers, you can resolve driver-related audio issues. It's recommended to use Driver Sentry for automatic driver updates, which saves time and prevents the risk of downloading or installing incorrect drivers.

Click the download button to get the latest version of Driver Sentry. After installation, open the software and click "Scan".
