8 Ways to Fix Windows 11 Internet Connection Issues
Internet connection issues are common with Windows 11 and can disrupt productivity and entertainment. This article offers solutions to fix these problems and restore your network connection.
Method 1: Check Network Connection
If you're using a wired connection, check if the Ethernet cable is properly plugged into both your computer and the router/modem.
For wireless connections, ensure your computer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
Press Windows + A to open the Action Center and make sure Airplane Mode is turned off.
Method 2: Update Network Adapter Drivers
Outdated or corrupted network adapter drivers may cause Windows 11 to lose internet connectivity. It's recommended to use Driver Sentry to automatically detect and update drivers to save time and avoid downloading or installing the wrong ones.

Refresh DNS and IP:
In the search bar, search for "Command Prompt", right-click it, and select Run as administrator. Type the following commands and press Enter after each:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
These commands will release your current IP address, assign a new one, and refresh the DNS cache.
Restart your computer and check if the internet connection is restored.
Method 4: Disable and Re-enable Network Adapter
Open the Control Panel, select "Network and Sharing Center".
Click "Change adapter settings", find your network adapter, right-click it, and select "Disable".
Right-click the adapter again and select Enable. Wait a few seconds for the adapter to reconnect to the network.
